I created this videographic epigraph (incorporating the above Mulvey quote, the 2017 film A GHOST STORY, and other elements including a track from The Mars Volta) in Spring 2021 as part of my seminar work for Dr. Michael Cowan’s class “Film Studies and the Digital Turn,” as a graduate student in the Film Studies PhD program at the University of Iowa.
