This is my entry into Andrey Lebrov's Firefly contest with Razer. The idea was to use his mysterious firefly technique to create a moody scene.

I chose to model a wine glass that I own (a gift from an ex-girlfriend for Valentines Day actually - thanks Tabatha) in Cinema 4D and Octane, then created the fireflies within it. I then duplicated the glass and set it to a romantic scene in space. After I rendered it, I brought it into After Effects for color grading, motion blur, adding the blue star, and some subtle (hopefully) sound design.

I imagined a cabin on board a space ship where two people were about to enjoy a romantic evening starting with rare Firefly Wine from Calypso III.
