A Miscarriage of Justice is a 360/Virtual Reality 18-minute docudrama experience which brings history to life by transporting the spectator to bear witness to one of the most political executions in Australian history, the hanging of Ronald Joseph Ryan in 1967.

When the spectator enters the experience, they embody the role of Jean Lee, the last woman to be executed in Australia also at Pentridge Prison, who was executed 15 years prior to Ronald Ryan. Jean Lee leads Ryan though his final moments. At a poignant moment in the film the spectator's role switches to that of Ronald Ryan and they are brought face to face with the unimaginable. It is the first time, Jean Lee, whom the spectator has embodied until this point in the film, is also revealed to them.
