Some months ago I made a steal on eBay when purchased an old Bolex h16 Reflex 16mm Film camera. Little did I know, analog filmmaking is not as straight forward as it may sounds. Through a friends recommendation I ordered a 100ft roll of @Kodak vis3 500t (Stock, develop, Scan, shipping -> 200€) which gives you roughly 3min of footage at 24fps. At this point I didn’t even know of the Bolex was working properly. I decided to shoot a little test roll with @lisamawe (a 200€ test though) but didn’t want to shoot random beauty shots. This is where the movie “A Ghost Story” comes in.
