This 8mm home movie begins just before Christmas 1959, with 7-year-old me bicycling up past the elementary school to see Santa in the center of J-town. We then cut to a snow day in February, playing with my Army sled in the field next to our house on Old Six Mile Lane (across from the end of Lynnwood Way). I am grateful to my father for having the foresight to film some of these childhood moments 60 years ago...
