Racehorses including Red Rum, Desert Orchid and Altior joined the likes of Spider-Man, Black Panther and Captain Marvel as they were immortalised as comic book superheroes.
Britain’s ten favourite horses were turned into superheroes by a team of Marvel artists, with strips including Lester Piggott riding Nijinsky to victory, Frankie Dettori celebrating with Enable and The Queen with one of her prized racehorses.
It’s our first piece of work with The Jockey Club and part of an effort to introduce a new generation to the thrill and drama of horseracing.
