It’s designed for astronauts to help stimulate movement by being slightly antagonistic to their rested body, delaying zero-gravity induced muscular atrophy. The gloves help calm through pressure point application and olfactory stimulation via a scent release pouch containing scents that evoke personal memories of life back home on Earth.
The film conveys the effect of weightlessness in zero-gravity, and the muscle memory of both body and mind. Words not fully formed, but parts of words returning, to complete a journey thats just beginning to remember its former self.
