The broadness of the techniques found in traditional Chinese Kung Fu are what make it special and diverse. In this video, we examine some of the short-range movements found within the Tiger Claw System of Kung Fu. The arrow punch or rocket punch is direct, simple and straightforward in nature. The unique aspect is that it's a Fire Element movement (五行拳...Ng Hang Kuen) being utilized with the Tiger's spirit and dominating energy. Claw and Strike are coupled together to make for a devastating combination. The stance used in this combination is a high triangular horse that allows for quick directional changes as well as chasing down the opponent as a tiger would.
