The San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI), in association with ZAZ Corner, presented “Tunnels of the Mind.” This program exhibited on a jumbotron in Times Square, New York City, on June 10th, 2020, running through June 15th, 2020.
Two extracts of the animated film “Phase Three” were reconstructed and displayed as part of the artistic message in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Saturday, June 13th, 2020, at 9 pm PDT, SFAI screened the Times Square exhibition onto the landmark SFAI tower at 800 Chestnut Street, which also included an excerpt from the film Absentia, performed by Alex Ehmer.
