A partir de un proceso colaborativo con un grupo de barrenderas y barrenderos de la Ciudad a México, la artista presentará una acción colectiva en la plaza del Monumento a la Revolución.

Desde el acto de barrer como un ejercicio de agotamiento del lenguaje y la escritura, los participantes barrerán formando un listado de palabras en asociación afectiva a su trabajo y entorno.

El listado de nombres en espacio publico suele aludir a personas ausentes, mientras que la premisa de esta acción es nombrar a personas vivas.

La intervención aborda diferentes tensiones. Por un lado, lo que se tensiona entre lo que la palabra dice y el estimulo enigmático que provoca como imagen. Y por otro lado, la tensión entre la monumentalidad del espacio y gestos cotidianos como el barrer, escribir y cuidar.

From a collaborative process with a group of street sweepers from Mexico City, the artist will present a collective action in the Monumento a la Revolucion plaza.

Through the act of sweeping as an exercise of depletion of language and writing, the participants will form a list of words of affect, in association to their work and environment.

Lists of names in public space usually refer to absent people, while the premise of this action is to name living ones.

The intervention addresses different tensions. On one hand, the tension between what the word reads and the enigmatic stimulus that it provokes as an image. On the other hand, the tension between the monumentality of the space and the everyday gestures such as sweeping, writing and caring.
