For our 3D Animation thesis film, Unearthly, we decided to incorporate Motion Capture technology to help us cut down on key-animation time. The main motion capture system we are using is the Rokoko Smartsuit Pro (rokoko.com/en/products/smartsuit-pro). This video showcases a summarized workflow of exporting and retargeting the data from Rokoko Studio to Maya, using the HumanIK (HIK) plugin.
