Erica Jones – a singer from Louisiana. She need an animation video for the opening of her Youtube channel – The Erica Jones.
She wanted this animation to look elegant, leaned, and in line with her music, RnB.
The first thing we did was design a character that was a caricature of her. She sent us a reference character from Erica’s friend drawing. After that we researched her Instagram. There we found lots of purple – blue – pink colors. This color is obtained from Erica’s photos when singing in clubs. Then we decided to use that color as the dominant color in this animation design.
Erica also wants to present a collage of her photos. She sent me lots of photos. We cropped the photos and gave them some movement, side by side with The Erica Jones logo.
