Project Description:

Increase in climate change continues to progress as humanity constantly pollutes the atmosphere. In order to bring awareness of climate change, a 30 second Public Service Announcement (PSA) animation was created to illustrate this issue. It specifically discusses climate change in the Pacific Northwest. This animation relies heavily on its illustrations to convey the message of what negative effects are to come if nothing is done about it.

To start off this PSA animation, the audience is presented with different kinds of environments the Pacific Northwest provides for all living things that populates there. Then it later addresses that what it gives can easily be taken away due to climate change. It depicts three examples of environmental disasters climate change can cause. The three include increase in runoff, sea levels rising, and more forest fires. Afterwards, a few solutions are presented for what its viewers can do to make a difference. The animation comes to an end with displaying a link to learn more about taking action in helping to reduce climate change.

Although this PSA specifically highlights climate change in the Pacific Northwest, solutions at the end of the animation are viable towards any region the audience may live in.
