This Malayalam vlog is about my exciting experience as a Pilot. This is the first ever Malayalam video of a lady vlogger’s flying experience in an aircraft.
An aircraft is a vehicle that is able to fly by gaining support from the air. Common examples of aircraft include airplanes, helicopters, gliders, hot air balloons etc.

An airplane or aeroplane is a fixed wing aircraft that is propelled forward by thrust from a jet engine, propeller or rocket engine. Airplanes come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and wing configurations. The broad spectrum of uses for airplanes includes recreation, transportation of goods and people, military and research.

Flight or flying is the process by which an object moves through a space without contacting any planetary surface, either within an atmosphere or through the vacuum of outer space. This can be achieved by generating aerodynamic lift associated with gliding or propulsive thrust, aerostatically using buoyancy, or by ballistic movement.
Pilot:
Most airplanes are flown by a pilot on board the aircraft, but some are designed to be remotely, or computer controlled such as drones. Pilot license is required to fly an aircraft. This is similar to a driver’s license allowing you to drive a vehicle. Different kinds of Pilot licenses are
Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Airline transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor etc
Aviation: Flying or operating of aircraft is called aviation. It is the activities surrounding mechanical flight and the aircraft industry.
Different kinds of air crafts:
Single engine and twin engine aircrafts
Thousands of business owners and recreational pilots begin their venture into aviation with a single engine piston airplane while others find a twin engine better fulfills their needs. They are suited for short missions under 300 miles.
Fuel in aircrafts:
Piston engine aircraft use gasoline and those with diesel engines may use jet fuel(kerosene). Wings on aircraft are watertight and designed to hold aviation fuel. The weight of the fuel provides rigidity to the wing there by reducing wing flutter.
Cockpit: The cockpit is the section where the pilot and the co-pilot manage the aircraft. The two main functions of the cockpit are; to provide the pilot with a good angle and to make all control mechanisms accessible to them.
Propeller: An aircraft propeller is an aerodynamic device which converts rotational energy into propulsive force creating thrust which is approximately perpendicular to its plane of rotation. The rotational energy can be produced by a piston or gas turbine engine or, in limited applications, by an electric motor.
ATC: Air traffic control is a service provided by ground-based air traffic controllers who direct aircraft on the ground and through controlled airspace, and can provide advisory services to aircraft in non-controlled airspace.
