My horses and dogs do the same thing, and when I go to the zoo, the wild animals do the same. I have often communicated with orangutans, lions, and bears, Oh my. They get really excited when I show them I understand them. I have had several zoo keepers come up and ask me how I do it. It's really not all that difficult believe it or not. It's mainly a matter of watching them closely.
