One of my largest projects I’ve ever made: a reconstruction of Canal Street and Broadway in NYC, based on a photo I found online. I spend nearly a year on the scene by changing and including many details to make it more realistic. The biggest challenge for me was to make it look real with low poly models.
As plugins I’ve used DEM Earth to rebuilt the topography and also remodelled the buildings using 80s.nyc and google streetview to get the original flair of the 80s. All cars are authentic from the ’60s, ’70s and mid ’80s. The movement of the cars are dynamic by using RealTraffic for Cinema4D.
