People often say that I’m “naturally motivated”. I’m not. I’ve simply trained myself to take action, even when it’s really hard. And it IS often hard when you’ve chosen a job where rejection slaps you in the face every single day. So, I’ve committed to never getting paralysed by my own emotions. I can’t figure out any other way someone could ever build a career as an actor. Least of all, in a foreign country, in such troubled times of increasing segregation... The bottom line, however, is: time doesn’t stop. The Earth is constantly spinning and with it, we’re continuously travelling at thousands of miles per hour. Movement is the way of the world. Movement changes our biochemistry, gives us a sense of accomplishment, renews our energy and ideas, helps us think clearly, meet our needs, find a way out.

This quick video, mostly shot during my “reinvention trip” to Avignon in July 2019, is a celebration of movement and the city’s stunning beauty. It’s also part of the creative research for my new feature film project... It required time and energy at a busy moment, when motivation wasn’t always around, so I’m really happy I overcame laziness and fear and did it anyway. I almost injured myself trying a rather dangerous move, that obviously didn’t make it to the final cut, but that’s another story... Make a baby step and get moving! Get out there, pursue your goals and fight for your dreams no matter what! ����������"
