Librement inspirée par une trentaine de tableaux de grands maîtres de la peinture tel que Qi Baishi, Gao Xingjian, Shoda Koho, ou encore Katsushika Hokusai, Chloé Guêze peint ce conte d’Océanie qui raconte l’histoire d’une petite grenouille ordinaire qui voulait devenir extraordinaire.
Le Buddhaboard permet de peindre à l’eau, puis de voir disparaître la peinture lors du séchage. Filmés puis accélérés, puis inversés et animés, les peintures apparaissent alors en mouvement….
