This project is a simple shape motion graphic depicting the core five seconds of a John Williams motion picture score.
The chosen score by John Williams is The Adventures of TinTin. The first five seconds of the score were selected for the project because a bass clarinet, a piano, and a harpsichord team up right at the song’s beginning. It lets the audience know that this isn’t a typical action-adventure score.
The motion graphic depicts the essence of the score, Tintin and his dog Snowy on a mysterious adventure, searching for clues. The motion graphic captures Tintin and Snowy’s dynamic as they are searching for clues and how they get caught more often than not.
The yellow circle represents Tintin, and the smaller white circle is Snowy.
