Hello.
I am a 23-year-old dancer who grew up as a child in Manila, Philippines and as a teenager in Berlin, Germany. Currently, I am a third-year student at Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg, Netherlands. Alongside my professional training, I have worked with different choreographers, such as Volker Eisenach and Anja Meser (DE), Beatrice Fleischlin (CH), Ru Atma (AU), Gabriella Secchi (IT), Angelo Egarese (IT), and Tony Vezich (NL), among many others. I am also a dance performer at United Cowboys, directed by Maarten van der Put and Pauline Roelants, and a dance teacher at Dansschool Movimento.

I am a dance artist who is interested in maximising the physical potential of the performer on stage. In my personal artistic process, I try to achieve this through various challenges. I constantly challenge myself to find my extremes – in terms of softness, sharpness, speed, size, and other differences in qualities. I also challenge myself to analyse my physical capacity and my connection with the ground and space. I try to apply this in my daily training, and I believe that this brings me closer to understanding my body and its language. I like to take my artistic process further by challenging my body to learn how to move in ways I have not experienced before. I want to dive deep into movement languages that can present new connections in my body, so that I can deepen my understanding of my own movement language. I believe that by learning more about my body and its capacity of movement, I can establish a richer understanding of my body and how I can master it. I believe that the more I am in touch with my own movement language and my own body, the more I can comprehend its power in dance performance and art.
