Removing Biological Pollution in the Ocean and Marine Environments
Presenter: Attila Tottosi
Founder/CEO
OnEarth MissionX

Chemical and Biological pollution is the worst problem in the ocean and marine environments. This pollution changes multiple Ocean Health Index, water quality chemistry factors, like becoming more acidic. Besides the acidification that naturally occurs by carbon sequestration, this is one of the biggest threats to the planet. Acidic environments do not favor any forms of life.
Our projects, address man-made biological pollution, additionally contributing to the restoration and control of the balance of natural acidification.

We are OnEarth MissionX, and we keep the focus on our problem-solving actions in the ocean and marine environments, via The Poseidon-Projects.
We are also one of the proud founding member organizations of the Meso AM SDG17 Coalition, which is targeted to solve problems in real teamwork in the Caribbean. Our 25 organizations and pool of 100 SDG14 solution deployments, can address multiple aspects of these pollution problems, and recovery efforts. Our team of passionate TruBluHearts are subject matter experts, that are qualified, ready and willing to take action.

The technologies we discovered, invented and deploy are working in a systematic way.
The formula we apply behaves the same way to toxins, bacteria, and contamination, reduces and neutralizes them, supporting getting a natural balance back.
It is geoengineering because basically, Earth science has 4 subsystems, our technology can positively impact 3 of them, the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere.
Our teams are keenly focused on the ocean and its connected ecosystems of coral reefs, mangroves, wetlands, kelp, phytoplankton, acidification, and overall conservation of the biodiversity in those living environments. We share with the UN and UNESCO these 7 challenge areas as our TOP priorities. Our activity makes living environments healthier because assisting Nature with an organic solution, is the best way for to regenerate itself from distress caused by biological pollution.

Thank you for your kind attention, and I hope we can meet on the field with many of you and take actions together for a healthy Caribbean ocean.
