We are launching a UK first….
The Insect’s Alphabet Book with augmented reality on Crowdfunder!
Our alphabet and phonics book aims to nurture literacy and to enable children to directly engage with conservation issues to take one small step towards a healthier planet.
One of the greatest environmental crises’ facing our planet is the devastation of insect populations due to deforestation, pollution, pesticides and climate change.
A recent study predicted a desperate future for us all, where more than 40 per cent of all insects could go extinct over the next few decades.
These insects are important for our own future on the planet.

Approximately 80 percent of all Earth plants require pollination from either bees, butterflies or other pollinating insects.
Without these pollinators, most plant life on Earth will disappear, eco systems would collapse, along with our food sources. Our survival is intertwined with the survival of the insects.
We are on a mission to teach children and their carers that Insects are essential friends not creepy crawlies!
As a parent, I have noticed the decline of insects in my own back garden whilst bug hunting with my daughter.
The inspiration for the combining of augmented reality insects and phonics came from watching her love of learning and exploration of nature.

All Children have this natural curiosity to learn facts about their planet and its creatures.

This book taps into that thirst for knowledge and sparks their imagination

The book and companion augmented reality app will engage all of the child’s senses for a fun and educational experience.

Our detailed and beautiful illustrated insects will pop out of the page using an easily accessible smart phone or tablet device.

The initial £1,000 we aim to raise through Crowdfunding will be used to fund the specialists time (early years teachers, scientists, illustrators, animators, and app developers) to refine the book design and content. The aim is to get the book fully developed and published this year with your support!
