The Provost leads this service from the Cathedral. The Vice Provost is the preacher. Taylor Driggers-McDowall leads the Intercessions, Abby Jessamine leads some of the prayers and the Gospel is read by Caitlin Wakefield. Shae Weir sings the mass setting (Mass of St Thomas by David Thorne). Morven Bremner sings the anthem at Communion (‘O sons and daughters, let us sing’). They are both accompanied by Frikki Walker, organ. At the end of the service, the voluntary is the third movement (Marcia) from Organ Symphony No. 3 by Charles-Marie Widor played by Steven McIntyre on the organ of St Mary’s Cathedral (recorded for the Glasgow Society of Organists in September 2020). The hymn is sung by Morven Bremner with Frikki Walker playing the organ.
