In the late 90’s I begin an attempt to animate a concept piece for an idea I had about a girl getting hypnotized through her television and sent on assassination missions. As I didn’t know what I was doing – I was primarily teaching myself Final Cut and Photoshop – this wound up taking several years (in which the concept grew) and the project ultimately became a pitch piece for Fun World – which was originally offered as an animated show. I finished it around 2004. It mainly consists of altered photographs and cut up pieces of altered video. As I began running out of time, one or two things were not “treated” as much as I’d like – such as the image for the “real” President is simply Warren magazine’s Uncle Creepy.
