Our concept of the 'barely moving image' is a meditation on expanded scales of time, in the lived sense. Elements of almost imperceptible movement encourage heightened sensibilities in the viewer, asking them to reconsider their perceptual reality.
This is a quick test. The final videos will comprise footage shot on field trips to locally significant bodies of water. What constitutes local remains to be seen and will be dictated by the trajectories that reveal themselves during the accompanying research component of the project.
