- Set feet shoulder width apart. Anchor feet into the floor - toes, heals, and outside of the foot.
- Inhale deep into belly before initiating movement.
-To initiate: imagine sitting down into your hips. Imagine your hips moving back at the same rate your knees move forward. Descend as low as you comfortably can without falling forward or losing your strong foot position.
- Out of the hole, squeeze glutes to pulse up out of the bottom, before once again descending to your lowest depth. You will feel your core, quads, and butt working.
-Maintain your core cylinder! Think: strong feet, "chest up."
