The adult products, infomercials, and reruns have no depth but you are transfixed. Your eyes glued to the screen. Eventually, a different kind of advertisement comes on. Disjointed scraps of scenes play out, each less familiar than the last. What am I watching? Unknown sounds and images fill your living room. You sense maybe you’re watching something you shouldn’t be. The images sit on the edge of recognition, and while their forms suggest use, their function and purpose is just out of view. You are curious - is there a number to call? A website? A name? Nothing. The screen goes blank. Back to our regularly scheduled programming.
