I created an animation to test whether motions have effects on the recognization of organized wholes, as known as “gestalts”, even from those dots, circles and lines which scattered in all directions. It is a chase play between a crane, which uses “Gestaltzerfall” to decrease the Level of Detail of the target, and a robot trying his best to escape from the crane.
