The “Dynamic Virtual Protein” method is intended for the biological research community and was developed as part of an interdisciplinary team of bio-physicists and interactive designers. The method requires an amino acid sequence of the protein as an input to build three-dimensional structures of virtual proteins that are fully interactive. This method allows the development of an innovative process in order to create virtual proteins of various sizes and levels of complexity.
It enables folding and binding of proteins, interactivity with the virtual proteins, and interactive molecular animations and simulations.

“Genome to Phenome” is a NSF funded project, focusing on “prediction of the effects of combinations of small sets of mutations on biophysical phenotypes.”
