A 2D animation about bioplastics created by Mary Okongo, a high school student who was part of the REFUGES after-school program by the Centre for Science and Mathematics Education at the University of Utah.
This animation was a final outcome of outreach efforts by Grace and Shraddha from the Animation Lab (Dept. of Biochemistry, University of Utah) to bring scientific animation skills to high schoolers. This project was funded by the American Society for Cell Biology through the Science Sandbox, an initiative of the Simons Foundation from June 2020 to 2021.
