This movement is designed to improve your core stability and shoulder stability. This is also a preparation drill for the bear crawl variations.

Step 1: Start on all fours, with hips over the knees and shoulders over the hands. Place a block on the lower back to ensure you maintain lumbar integrity.

Step 2: Take a deep breath and on your next exhale, lift the knees 1-2 inches off the floor. Note: You want to make sure that the spine stays parallel with the floor. This means hips and shoulders should be at the same height. Hold for 3 seconds then release knees to floor and repeat.
