This is a look behind the scenes at the first film I worked on at Escape Studios. This shows the progress from Storyboards to Previsualisation to Motion Capture to Mocap Retargeting to Animation Polish to Final Render! I was in the Motion Capture suit on the day and it was an incredible experience.
This was the first Motion Capture short film produced by Escape Studios.

Alma was directed by Rola Hafez, Francesco Cordari and Alexandra Megerdichian. It was produced by Emmanouil "Manos" Zervoudakis. Motion Capture performance by Jake Lee. Animation Polish by Rola Hafez, Jake Lee and Samantha Maiolo.
The MoCap performance was recorded at Escape Studios on a Xsens Awinda MoCap suit, supplied by Escape Studios' tutor and cinematographer Clement Gharini.
