This is cutting away to something else to help show what you mean.
4. Cut on action.
Make your edit cut at the point of action to ensure your film flows nicely.
5. Use jump cuts.
Jump cuts are easy quick cuts that edits out sections of the same continuous shot, to give a jumpy feel.
