'5 Dancers in Charcoal' seeks to explore the process of gesture drawing, expression, movement, mark and the concept of abstraction.
The work features a soundtrack from an excerpt of John Cage's abstract sound piece, 'Walter Walk' (1960) and the imagery was based on a video titled 'Slow motion Ballet' by Twixtor that can be found on Youtube (link below).
