Three rescuers working in Abaco, Bahamas making the best of the circumstances. After Hurricane Dorian, many rescue groups traveled around the island to help both animals and humans left homeless after the disaster. In the months following the hurricane, groups remained in Abaco to rescue and save animals. This video was filmed late one night before a spayathon the following day.
This is no way intended to downplay the catastrophic event that took place but when you do this work day in and day out, you have to find the light. Humor is the best medicine and how we survive the intense and long days of disaster relief. Dedicated to all the rescuers out there making a difference every day. We hope this makes you smile or even giggle a little...or a lot.
