Silver Lining-
This was my entry for Pixar's Renderman Shipshape contest. I received an honorable mention for it!
I wanted to capture a magical moment above the clouds that this hard working robot on his ship would get to escape to after a days work.
-Texturing was done in substance painter.
-Shading lighting and rendering was done in maya - using pxrsurface as the base material and  the pxruniform integrator in renderman23.
-The clouds and smoke I simulated in Houdini and converted to vdb's which I then imported into maya.
-Compositing was done in Davinci Resolve.

Ship concept by Ian Mcque. Robot concept by Ruslan Safarov. Models by Cheyenne Chapel, Aliya Chen, Damian Kwiatkowski, Alyssa Minko, Anthony Muscarella, and Miguel Zozaya. © Disney/Pixar - Renderman "Shipshape" Art Challenge

The Hidden People-
This project was another Pixar Renderman contest which I also received an honorable mention for!
- This one I really wanted to play with scale. I decided to shrink down the massive model to tiny "fairy" size. My inspiration were the Huldufolk, the tiny invisible elves of Iceland. Along with that I thought it'd be fun for my tiny elf to be friends with a furry giant. In my scene the elf has is eyes close in anticipation of the surprise from his giant friend.
- Texturing was done in Substance Painter
-Fur and moss were done with XGEN in Maya
-Shading Lighting and Rendering were done in Maya with Renderman
-Compositing EXR layers was done in Photoshop
-Woodville Treehouse - concept by Vasylina Hilo. Model by Alex Shilt. © Disney/Pixar - Renderman "Woodville" Art Challenge

Hugo and Grim-
The 2D concept is by Jake Parker. From a couple of his drawings I sculpted the charcters in Zbrush.
-Texturing was done in Mari and Substance Painter.
-Shaded, Lit, and hair groomed in Houdini.
-Rendered in Renderman for Houdini. Composited in Nuke

Nimsey-
Character for Student Academy Gold Award winning - BYU Senior Short Film "Grendel"
Responsible for Texturing and Shading (The Purple Dragon).
-Textured in Mari,
-Rendered and shaded in Renderman for Houdini.
