2.Synopsis :
"Koothu: Story of Chakyarkoothu" is an animated short which portrays the ancient Keralite art of storytelling known as Chakyarkoothu. Chakyarkoothu which originates from Southern India, Kerala. Chakyarkoothu is traditionally a monologue in which the performer narrates folk tales and/or events in a comical way thus making it one of the oldest forms of stand up comedy. In this slightly biographical short I have portrayed the life of a koothu pioneer Mani Madhava Chakyar who wanted this sacred, community-driven art style to be taken across borders and be performed in international stages and the prohibitions he faces while doing so.

5.Career Goal: I wish to someday work as a character designer for Pixar Animation Studio. I see myself designing quirky relatable characters from all regions.
4. My film is incomplete as it requires 8 more shots to be finished. I had a laptop crash while shifting my belongings home from my college and ended up losing 40% of my film as I was yet to save it to an external drive and had to rework on all those bits from the beginning. I plan to finish the film before July 31st and I am currently in the process of production.

1. Location: I am currently located in Gurgaon/ Gurugram, Haryana, India
2. Yes, I am open to relocation based on the place which is open to me.
3. I will be requiring Sponsorship to relocate to the U.S as and when I will be able to join or am selected for a position.
