While moving to our new office last year we came across an old prototype of a 1987 design for a kids three wheeler. Rudo Enserink designed this in his 2nd year at Delft University / Industrial Design Engineering. The design then won the Wim Rietveld Award for best design of the faculty for 1987. TRiKS features rear wheel steering, with super oversteered riding adding dramatically to the fun... the short pedals with 11" wheels the don't allow speeds any higher than walking speed so safety is ensured.The front wheel assembly is adjustable to the leg length.After 30 years the prototype needed some restoration and in the process we measured the parts to put it in CAD.
