‘SIM the Blind’ is a story based on ‘Simcheongga’ one of the five surviving stories of the Pansori storytelling tradition. Pansori is a traditional Korean genre of musical storytelling performed by a single singer and a drummer, recognized as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
In a post-apocalyptic world full of polluted fine dust and poor visibility, the audience can experience how blind people see the world while listening to the story from the Pansori singer/actor/narrator.
